Greetings,
With one of our websites that we use , when we browse to it, it brings up a
security certificate alert. We install the certificate (its for a site we
trust). As long as IE5 stays open we can go to the site with no problem.
If we stop IE and restart it, then it brings up the Security Certificate
again.

I have installed the certificate several times and it doesn't help. Start
up IE and go to the site, and the Security Certificate box pops up.

Any ideas (this is on an older machine running Win98 so we would rather not
burden this little machine with IE6 if at all possible).

thanks,
Darryl

Not knowing exactly which version of IE you are using...

Internet Explorer May Not Automatically Load Client Certificate
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;252984

Check to make sure the date and time on the machine is set correctly.
